This is the first step of our MEGA Continuous Improvement model. It helps identify the most important performance gaps before reviewing with Management and creating an action plan.
Description
This exercise in the form of a simple audit, will provide an idea of where you stand on your Lean and Quality journey. It may take from 1 to 3 days and it covers the following subjects: Management engagement, Employee engagement, Organizational structure, Lean and Quality skills and waste-walks. A self-assessment is a pre-requisite.
Attendance and Duration
Selected employees. Can take from 1 to 3 days.
Method
Audit sampling, interviewing, on-site.
Deliverables
Assessment report including recommendations for next steps.
